Brandi passante was a cult celebrity after her appearance on A&E's Reality Show 'StorageWars. The show also included Jarrod Schulz, who was Passante's partner for many years, and later husband. The show's theme is that the items stored in storage lockers which the rent has not been paid for three months are put up for auction. Brandi and Jarrod of the Now and Then Thrift Store located in Orange California were part of the show in hopes of acquiring affordable storage units. They were shocked to them that they would become reality stars. It was a huge success because the couple, who were very tactful with their bids throughout the entire episode were able to become stars. Their success on reality television helped their business which allowed them to grow. Their role in "Storage Wars" inspired a spin-off program "Brandi & Jerrod Married to Work' focused on the couple.
