Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada is an actress famous for her character Bo on The Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay, the director of drama and producer of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. The father of Silk, Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall the earliest moments of her life, including watching and participating in rehearsals of plays. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials while she was a young child. The year 1997 was the time she received a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Her early theater experience includes two shows with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto for further development of her acting career in November 1999. Later, she spent the following decade relocated in the following decade to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future partner, which she was introduced to at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop. In 2009, they were married civilly in December 2009. The couple got married in Fredericton on the 10th of April in the couple renewed their vows, following Silk's conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was born in May 2013, a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. In 2009, she was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the final season episode. The news was announced to viewers of the show during a Showcase preview of the Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season. On the 20th of June 2013 Silk tweeted that she was ready to return to the set of the show. Silk's portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers with the same gender in the show Lost Girl was named one of the most popular Television Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top TV Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk has an enormous online fan base on Facebook and Twitter, as a direct consequence of its success.
